
I wholeheartedly understand though that Paradox charges money for those expansion and packs, since they want to stay in business. I agree that this can be seen as a negative. The downside is that this DOES cost money.ĭevelopment time is not free after all, hence the optional packages. So many systems have been deepened and overhauled and with it also the longevity of the game. It's nothing alike compared to the 1.0 version anymore.

I hope you do realize that Stellaris improved immensly since it's inception 6 years ago?

There's LOTS of other games to play that don't "play me" like that. Similar as to FrostPunk (although that one may finally be "complete" as they are working on #2) - I'll just keep waiting. I will continue to monitor and wait (despite that the base-game is reportedly "complete" w/o the many DLC's, per other's opinions).

Martek: Stellaris continues to look interesting to me, but I don't abide by the "DLC's will continue coming out indefinitely" style of marketing & development.
